Measuring Detergent – Pods

Our Dexter front load washers use less water during the wash cycle than typical home washers.  So in turn you can use less detergent than you would use at home to ensure than the suds leave your clothes.

When using Pods, we suggest that you put the pods directly into the washer so there is enough time to dissolve the pod shell. Put liquid or powder in the soap drawer just after you start the washer. If you add a prewash cycle to your washer, do not use pods and put the detergent into the washer after the prewash cycle finishes. This prevents wasting detergent.
